Common questions from students and teachers
Browse teacher profiles or swipe through matches. When you and a teacher both like each other, it's a match — they're automatically saved to your student profile so you can pick up the conversation anytime.
Every student can book a free 15-minute video call with each teacher who offers it. It's a chance to meet, hear their recitation, tell them what you want to learn and see if you click. Pick a time in your own timezone and you'll get a confirmation email with the video link. No payment details needed. You can meet several teachers (one free call each) and then book a paid lesson with the one you like best. Free calls can be booked up to 3 weeks ahead, and paid lessons up to 10 days ahead.
Free calls can be cancelled at any time from My Lessons, and the slot goes back to the calendar for other students. Paid lessons can be cancelled by you or the teacher any time before the lesson starts: you get a full refund, automatically, to your original payment method (usually 5–10 business days). If the teacher cancels, you are always refunded in full. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
Each teacher sets their own hourly rate, so pricing varies. You'll see the exact price on every teacher's profile before you book.
Payments happen securely through Stripe when you book — no cash or off-platform transfers.
Click "Become a Teacher" in the footer or "Get Started" at the top of the page, and choose "Teach Quran" to register.
Yes — lessons happen online, so you can connect with teachers and students from anywhere in the world.
